Name: Lopa Banerjee
Your previous job:
Health care Operation Management
How long did you work there?
For over 2 decades I have had the distinct pleasure of being integrally involved in the corporate world in a variety of settings within US & overseas. I transitioned seamlessly to progressively more growth oriented leadership opportunities throughout my corporate career.
What was your position?
Transitioned throughout career to progressively growth oriented leadership opportunities.
What symptoms did you have that prompted this career change decision?
Physical limitations of a back injury imposed by a motor vehicle accident left me physically disabled. This was the catalyst that lead me to re-evaluate my life priorities and purpose. Additionally it is by Divine providence that I met Terri Levine in the corporate world. Prior to meeting Terri, I did not know that there was a career named coaching, for my life passion of partnering with individuals who wanted to take the next step in their life, and yet unable to do so by themselves. Terri enlightened me to this emotionally rewarding career of a certified coach. My personal gratification as a certified coach comes from the resonance of my career choice, my life passion and personal values.
My comprehensive corporate career path has clearly demonstrated progressive growth and responsibility at all levels and this provides me with a treasure trove of valuable experience and strategies that along with my coaching experience provides great value to my clients. I now have the opportunity to share, empower, grow and play (NOT WORK) with what I value most - human growth & development while passionately enjoying the experience and being highly compensated as a business certified coach.
What skills now benefit you and/or your company?
The basic tenets of coaching are: deep listening, being non-judgmental, and growing the individual with the concept of never having to "fix" an individual. This has served me personally grow and sparkle. As a business owner, a dedicated wife and mother, I personally identify with the 360-degree pressures of corporate life on a female professional. I have experienced the pulls and demands of work and personal life, like a "stretched rubber band ready to snap." As a female corporate professional my valuable first hand experience of the demands of the professional workplace, the strains of societal obligations ignites my empathetic passion of coaching female professionals in effective work life integration strategies. The value I provide resides in: my passion for excellence; coaching expertise; comprehensive corporate experience and personally having the experience and joy of work life balance. My ability to "feel" the pain and agony my clients are experiencing as they passionately seek to achieve balance and the ultimate joy my clients attain as they accomplish their desired outcomes, has earned me the reputation of being the coach professional women seek to partner with.
I serve as Director on multiple Boards, and the value I continue to provide the community is drawn from my comprehensive corporate leadership experience and my ability to effectively coach individuals (learnt through The Coaching Institute). I am invited by Internationally renowned Boards to present, spearhead projects, lead their leadership and executive programs, and establish programs toward improving work relations, work life balance, and other operational management needs.
The art of accomplishing a truly integrated life, achieving peak performance at work and realizing a joyful personal life is the passion of my life as well as focus of my business.
